He is still alive. Still owns a MX shop up in Wichita Falls and is currently selling his 01' Vette....

Thats cool to know.. he always seemed like a pretty good guy.. it was interesting to see him since he was originally a boat racing guy and made the conversion. Also, he was one of a few that raced late into life 60+ and was still competitive.

I was there for that race... what a race it was.

I love watching this stuff when it starts get to get dark. Impressive!!!
