Is it that much better of a battery? Also, is there any specific changes i need to make to install it? I noticed it looks significantly smaller than the stock battery, so i wasnt sure if i needed a new bracket.

My stock battery in my 2000 finally crapped out on me yesterday, so its time to get a new one. Oh well, 5 solid years with it works for me.

red top if its for daily driving

yellow top if your running big amps for a system, or if you run electric fans at the track and run the battery down

you can get by without an aftermarket bracket that replaces the stock battery mount

do a search for more info, there was a big discussion not tooo long ago

I may have my original mounting set up for my Optima. If I can't find the old one, I will fab one up for you. 50 bucks if your interested.
