My childhood home was 78K, 977sqft built in 1946. My dad bought it for 40K in 1973 I believe.

Dad Paid 26K in 1966, 1040 sq/ft
Current value 312K

My house is not doing near so well, only 40K higher since we bought it 13 years ago.

Yes, alot of these google.earths and others some-what 'peter-out' in rural areas.

What's cool is seeng some of our deer-stands, etc., though, even in dated satellite photos and seeing the time of day when the pic was taken by the angle of the shadow..
