Looking at a new toy

Ok, I no longer own a Lightning, I have owned two and now I have none. However during my ownership period I came to respect the opinions of you on this forum, so now I ask your advice. I am looking at purchasing a 1994 red Indy Pace Cobra Convertible with less than 500 miles on it. Asking price around $18,000. Your thoughts?

What do you plan on doing with it? By that I mean to drive it or let it sit for collectible value?

Not a bad price at all. They were many thousands more than $18,000 brand new. I'd get it.

I'm too much of a kid at heart, I would have to drive it some. It wouldn't be a daily driver by any means. I just sold my 65 2+2 Mustang and put less than 2,000 miles on it onver a 28 month period. The orginal sticker comes with the car, and the SVT documents stating that it is #376 out of 1000 produced. Orginal MSRP was $26,845.
