It was going to be a first because I was going to buy Ron's KB and he was going to get a whipple but plans have changed since KB dropped the price of the new one. My Apten/Scott dominator blower is already sold. :evil

Yeah, I can't blame you at all. If I get a blower it will be a KB. The price drop is enough of a reason, especially since I'd be happy with a lot less power than it is capable of producing.
WA 2 GO, Adam!

Nice . So are we messing with injectors and fuel pump or just dropping it in as a replacement?

The truck is waiting in line to go to Terry's for fuel pumps, injectors, Maf, tune, plugs, and a Detroit True Trak.

Better get a cage too, you should be faster than 11.5.

I'm not shooting for better than 11.5's and I really don't want a roll cage in my truck. If I just happen to accidentally run a little too fast then maybe they won't notice. :evil

Adam, I don't remember... do you have a built block? How much boost do you think you will see with this combo?

I'm still on the stock block, heads, and cams for now. I am running a 4lb lower with the stock 3" upper on the KB and I'm expecting about 13-14lbs of boost untill I switch to the 6lb lower or buy a smaller upper. I'm shooting for between 16-17lbs of boost on the KB and 480-500 rwhp. Mark#2 and 02Bolt have already shown that it can be done so I'm just looking to duplicate what they have already done on stock blocks. :tu:

Get a bigger lower, smaller than 3" upper starts to slip IMHO.
I have a 9" lower, but debating going to 9.5"

What can I expect w/ a 9" lower and 3.25 upper? I've been told 15-16.
I have full Bassani exhaust w/ off-road mids. My Lightning is currently
out for tuning. It should be tuned sometime tomorrow.

Does KB even make/supply a 3.25" upper pulley? I've only seen a 3.5" or a 3.0" (and smaller from there) advertised on their website.

JLP installed it prior to shipping. It's definitely a 3.25

I run a 3.25 on the street with the 9" and it is ~15 with long tubes, high flow cats, and silver bullet exhaust.

That is the standard pulley that KB ships, I will want it, if I go to the 9.5" lower.
I traded mine for a 3" to a guy that went to the 9.5" lower.
You may want to go all the way to the 8lb(9.5") lower and keep it though, let me know what you decide.
