Road work this weekend

FYI the road work i warned you about a few weekends ago didnt happen because of rain in the forcast. But starting tomorow morning around 7am 360 is going to be a nightmare. We are working around the GM plant and im sure it will be closed to one lane..

Ill be out there for a few hours then ill be out doing my usual sign work. Theres alot of exit signs that are down and been waiting on new ones....

North bound or South bound? And will this road work still be going on at 2:30 in the afternoon?

It was south bound if you didnt see it... I worked 14 hours(all time and a half $$$$$$ :D) on my feet all day im pooped! Next weekend we are going to be overlaying it so it will be nice and smooth...

If I had to hold a slow/stop sign for 14 hours, I might just think about taking the plunge into rush hour traffic.:evil Just kidding. I know how you feel about standing up all day.

haha that pic looks like a guy that works in our arlington section. BUt i didnt have to hold a stop sign lol... We just shut down 360 for about 20 mins so we could get all the cones out lol... Then opened one lane... I hated having to work it but i still had a blast... I love it when people get pissed and cuss at us and just wave, smile and say have a nice day..:evil Gets them even more steamed up....

I have had to stand and hold a stop/slow sign on 1187 by mellissas parents house. Did that for about 8 hours. My friend was on the other end so we just joked around and pointed out the cars with the hotties in them:D :nana2

I went thur there Tuesday about 2:50 heading to work. I was going north but the traffic was still slow with the usual rubber neckers. I was trying to see if I spotted U but with the helmets and the distant away and all I could not tell.
At night i come zooming thur and its better grooved now than it was before the surface was scraped off. However 360 north of 183 is good to go now , if only the slow a$$ sightseers,granny rollers would stay the h3ll out the left lane.

Well most of the time i wear my hard hard towards the back of my head if im just walking, so i dont get a funky sun tan line... If it dosent rain this weekend we will be paving it or overlaying it as we call it....

I came through there heading to work today N. bound around 3:15, the back up was almost to Riverside golf course. Glad I wasn't headed home. But I probably would have taken a side street thur Grand Prairie or Arlington. Most motorist probably didn't know why it was backed up and hope the problem is "just ahead and we're clear". I didn't see it posted on any of those TxDOT signs. I'll see on my way home tonight how smooth it is. Now maybe I don't have to change lanes like I'm running a cone course to dodge all the holes and bumps.

Im not working it this weekend so i dunno how much they got done....

But the guy that runs the machine that lays the hot mix(aspalt) is realy good... Its probly going to take 2 days because the hot mix is being braught from a few miles away by truck load so theres probly times where they dont have a dump truck pouring the stuff in the machine so it may look like they arent doing anything...

Just got home from working 13 hours.... the 360 job is FINISHED!!!!!!!

Also mr butfungus truck looked good and sounded good as you drove by, you were the only one that waved to us all day.. We had people yelling at us from the other side of the highway lol......Alot of people got pissed when we all stoped working for 10mins if that to eat some lunch...

Also saw a red gen 1 with some chrome 20s on it...

SMOOVE Mike, even the TRANSITION from old to new and new to old was SMOOVE with no big bump at the joining point.
