What do you guys think about these coil pack's? Who's going to try them first?

All that I have read says that people are having fitment issues.
No data yet, other than "they are great".
I am watching as my coils are all 6 years old.
Never had a failure which is interesting in itself.

I agree, and what do you set your spark plug gap to with all this new found energy?

Steve I found this post answering some of the questions you have.

Depends on your boost level.

I have run .035 at 18psi for years now, stock coils.

There is a lot of math that can be done on this, lower resistance, higher voltage, ? current change, voltage required to jump a distance at a certain pressure, etc.

I could generate the Excel file, but .040 to .044 would be my guess, modeling is bogus without verification, that is why I'm waiting on data, imagine that;)

lmao...that one guys description of what he felt is the typical placebo effect. He spent his money, so he wanted/needed some results.

I understand the theory, but is it something that will really be measurable/quantifiable ? Sounds a lot like the Plasma Booster and the other gizmo that required cutting half of the stock coils off.

Guy's over nloc are talking about the connecting rope being 1/8in to long, breaking ears off when tightning down:confused: (don't think i understand the last issue, it's not like they have to be torqued down.) o ya, and what gap to use. but anyway Mr. G. has posted up saying he's going to work on these issues TODAY:rolleyes: anyway go over their and check it out.
