Well with all this rain it flooded bad in Burleson, well on my way to Wal-Mart cars were stalled left and rightso I thought I would put the Rubicon to use. On one of the cars the water was to the roof of it and to the hood of my Jeep and I have a 6" lift with 35" tires!! Well I got to use the winch again!!! In one of these pics is a lifted Superduty and it was almost to the hood!!! But I got the lady out of the car and got her car to higher gound!!

You should probably get one of those "H2 Rescue Vehicle" or whatever stickers for your Rubi. :)

Fox 4 just showed Yellow Belly Drag Strip was under water. Most of Deep Ellum at one point was under water..... Fun stuff.

Over hear in NRH, it's been pouring heavily with very few let ups for over 24 hours. My backyard has about 8 inches of standing water. It's not up to the house yet but I'm watching it.
The land that my neighborhood is built on USED to be under water. The Trinity River Authority raised it up about 12 ft when the built the waterway. And it is no longer considered a flood plain (I hope). With the boom in construction out hear and all the new roads I sure hope they've got it together in the drainage department. :(

The Infomart (Dallas)where I work is aparently closed. Security is apparently not letting folks in or out The whole area around Oak Lawn seems to be flooded.
As I was flying back in from vacation in Fla DFW was closed and we were ina holding pattern for about 45 mins. Tons of water everywhere.....Riverside golf course on 360 is pretty much flooded out as well.

Across the street from Wal-Mart next to the high school and admin buildings about 3:00pm I think, all the run off from Burleson collects there!!!
Damn that water was COLD!!!! And flowing!!! Took about 100' of cable to get to the car to hit good ground to pull it on, but when I drove down there to get her out of the car the water was on the hood of the jeep almost in the airbox, the car was acually in the highest spot there!!

....got jacked up this weekend. Basically most of it was turned into a big pond, from what I can see. There are several buildings that are clearing out the water from there warehouses, one building where the roof caved in, plus a bunch of landscape cleanup. Found a Caddy that was covered in mud, plus a new Porshe that was obviously completely covered in water.

Funny thing is I know EXACTALY where that pic was taken of that superduty. Thats my old stompin grounds. I was having fun in richardson with my truck. Pushing through 2 feet of water at 40 mph throwing waves 12 feet high on to the little cars going 5 mph. :)
