Just curious how many of you recieved a survey in the mail from TXDOT regarding toll plans for 121. Anyone?

I haven't, but I'm definately interested. I live in Allen and work in Southlake and the 121 is THE road that gets me there.

Maybe they are only surveying folks who would be financially impacted the most. I am in Plano and haven't received anything on it yet. I love toll roads.

We haven't received one yet, but I take 121 everyday from Allen to Plano/Legacy area every day.

They're handing out tickets like lollipops on that whole stretch.

I haven't gotten one, surprisingly. But I think it's a necessity, despite what the people in THe Colonic think. ;)

Me thinks you maybe don't know everything that is REALLY going on... :)

Methinks you're right. I'm not surprised, tho: Perry is paying back his owners in spades. What I read in that link, tho, is way-overkill. If a tollway will help pay for the road and its maintenance (see I-30, DNT, and 190), then by all means do it, I don't mind paying the "0.095" per mile; but if it hits 0.25-1.00 per mile, AND is "owned" by a private corporation (possibly a Perry contributor?), I have a major problem with that--oh, and let's not forget "purely electronic" :bs :hammer:

I guese Perry et al have forgotten that they are PUBLIC SERVANTS, and they work for US! :nono:
