How much for a TC swap ?
Can I get a "labor is gonna screw me" discount? :)

I need to do more searching for a gear vendor. My local vendor Motive says only OEM are available and they are 430 my COST!:eek2: I can get them from JDM cheaper. My rear end guy will do setups for 300.
Wes- I will give you the "I'm getting laid off and have a mortgage, Lightning, and Corvette payment" discount!:d A TC swap requires dropping the exhaust, and trans might as well rebuild it while it is out:D I will see what flag hours is on it tomorrow. Prob. around 250.:tu:

Woohooo...someone else is sick in the head and still perusing the boards :)
I think I do need a tranny rebuild actually....but I don't now what it entails pricewise or labor wise. I always hear people talking about scrathcning them on the 1-2 shift and how hard it shifts etc. ,I have never experienced that. I thought maybe the FT VB would do the trick but that was no dice, still nothing like others describe.

I got my 3.73's FMS gears from LightningForce in Houston for $189. Installation was free due to my fried posi being warrantied at the time...

Ford Motorsports gears, cost on Ford OEM gears is 490 for some strange reason:confused: I might get him to work on a Saturday, he is building a house and spends his weekends doing that.
