View Full Version : Help me build my shed this weekend

Like the title says, I'm replacing a small storage shed in my back yard this weekend and anybody that likes to hammer on stuff is welcome to come lend a hand.

The existing shed is 8' x 16' and has had major leaking for a couple of years now and needs more than just a new roof. So I decided the best thing is to tear it down and build new.

I redesigned it with a barn type roof and have already built the complicated shaped end walls. I just need to tear down the old shed. I'm going to try and reuse the old siding but that's about it. For the new shed I have to finish building my roof trusses, side wall frames, sheath it, and put a roof on.

I am very busy and the recluse thing ain't cool I'll burn them with carb cleaner and a lighter! But if your idea of tearing down the old one is wrapping a chain around it and pulling it down the alley I would lend the truck and strap:evil . When I was 4-5yrs old I got the help dad pull down the old garage with the 76 K5 blazer. It was cool!

The brown recluse thing would be scarey, but I haven't seen any in there in almost a year since I started pouring seven dust over everything every few months.

The truck demolition would definitely be the most fun:banana:

hardly necessary though, I think it could fall with a stiff wind.

im going to try and button my my motor this weekend. If i take a break or get done ill give you a call and see if you still need help

That's cool, you need to get that motor done. I still have that water pump for you.
