Finally Tropi-Cared the L

I've gone the Zaino route twice before and now tried the TC offering, and it's just as good or better with MUCH less labor involved! I've given it the TC wash/clay-bar/wax/Zaino Z-6 treatment. The finish is very "wet" looking up-close and slick-feeling to the touch. :)

Granted, I could've taken better pics with more daylight, but these were taken shortly after 8pm this evening as the sun just dipped below the clouds before it set.

I might take the truck to work tomorrow (most likely Thu.) for better shots around Legacy / Tollway.:cool:

Now, my truck and garage smells like Sudafed. :tongue:

I might just take you up on your offer for some long-range shooting lessons. I've got my eye on a NIB Armalite AR-10(T) with one of the higher-end 50mm. obj. scopes, 1913 4-rail Picatinny hand-guard, forward-grip and Harris bi-pod. .knana

I'd take you up on that, but my range is out of service for the time being. A bit of erosion coupled with some new houses downrange makes it currently unsafe. Hoping to get it built back up, and the angle changed to avoid firing towards the houses within the next few months.

Due to the contours of the property my range is limited to 325 yards. If I built an elevated shooting platform I could get about 450. For the true long range "practice" we go prairie dog hunting in W. Texas, and you can see/shoot well in excess of 1000 yards.

National grasslands in Ok/Tx/NM tri-border area. It's free, the prairie dogs make interesting targets, the wind will really challenge your skills, and there are lots of places for 2500-3000 yard shots if you've got the equipment and skills. Some pics in Terry's gallery, and in mine.

Nope, but it's a good place to test what you've learned at shorter distances.
