What is the largest amount of miles you have put on your L in one year? I think I might win this unfortunate award, but I am interested to see others response....

I bought the truck brand new with 2 miles on it June 15, 2004, I don't even have 2 years on my L, but I'm at 45,000 right now and on pace for 50,000 by her 2 year b-day, so i'd say 25,000/year

I'm around ~43k, myself today. I bought her in 2/03 with less than 10 miles on her. One of the last '02s.

A friend of mine in OH. has a True-Blue '02 L that's about to turn 15k.:eek2: He's running 12.42 @ 113 on F1's with a 1.88 60' time at Norwalk at 16 psi with a stock, unported Eaton.:cool:

Well, I have become a low mileage guy since I moved here.. everything is so close by..

about to turn over 35k, one of the first '02's took del brand new in 02/02..built in Nov 2001 according to its birth certificate.

I am fortunate enough to have a company vehicle that I drive on a daily basis. The Lightning is strictly a weekend/nice weather/pleasure vehicle. RUNVS will be five years old on August 18 and its got 44,139 miles on the clock. I put 17,000 miles on it the first year and have averaged about 600 miles per month since 2002.

By my records, since January of 2005 I have put on ~4000 miles. Just over 42K on the odometer for my 2001 delivered in May 01.

I had my '99 for 4.5 years and sold it with 42k on it.

My '04 I've had for just over 2 years and I'm at 17.5k. I plan to drive it ~6k miles this year.

I bought mine with 104k on it 6 months ago. It has 107k now but alot of the difference was put on the truck by a friend. He wanted to drive it around and I needed to break in the new motor............

I'm not going to win this award. I bought mine in Aug 02 and I'm easily less than 5k/yr, but my highest year, I probably had 8k and it would have been in 2004. I just hit 15k last month.

I bought mine new in 1995 with 13 miles on it. Now she has 58k. So that's just over 5k a year. :d

Got mine with, 4k on it ,in May 2004. Mines a daily driver, but its only 20-miles round trip to work. It just turned 18k, so thats +- 7,000 miles per year.

Just over 32K in one year. Sold it with 117K after 5 years and a week. You said you thought you'd win, but you didn't give a figure?????

Cause with all these posts, I realized that I was not going to win.

I just found out though that I have put right at 21,500 on the truck in the past year. Explains why I have spent a ton of money on it in the last month and a half though....:eek2:

bought my 2000 almost 5 years ago (May '01) with 3900 miles, just turned over 65,000 a week ago near Monroe ,La. About 23,000 of those came in the first year when it was exciting, new,and no other daily driver. Rest of the miles spread out over 4 years since then mostly highway miles going back and forth to Alabama. 2 -L'fests, 1 Fun Ford Houston & 4 Fun Fords Ennis with the occasional metroplex trips. Got a daily driver also.

My 2k has 81k... :o not too bad...but its still a daily drvr
