Avatars are small graphics that are displayed under your username whenever you post. PLEASE keep the avatars appropriate for the Truck Community. Pictures of your self, your truck, etc are recommended. Other types of Avatars including nude avatars, large animated avatars and Avatars that would better be discussed on "The View" may be deleted without warning.

Just curious, why the change?

Nothing Changed other than the language in the rules

I was in Vegas airport and had sometime to kill so I added words to describe the rules already in place.

Im sure the swift among us can determine the emphasis the rule change was intended to carry

Its mostly a boys club here so a little T and A is ok - Just think about whether or not you would want your mom looking over your shoulder and seeing the avatar or not

If you find a picture you like the Gallery thumbnail is designed to match the requirements for the avatar - I think you can just use the thumbnail URL - so just copy the thumbnail url fro the properies of the picture ..

if you need help just post the link to one you like here

Ok here is that picture in the gallery

On that page right click the thumbnail at the top and choose properties and select the entire URL listed - right click copy -

Here is the resulting url to that thumb

You can copy that in the Avatar section of your CP

In the future dont change the image name just add to it - that way I can quickly find the original picture both in the gallery and the full size original on my hard drive

I actually emailed a copy of my avatar to my mom. She thought it was funny, so she emailed it out to all my aunts and uncles.
