Nope, just doing the KB thing, but my stock blower was pretty "wore out" as they say in West Texas. Should be climbing up the timeslip ladder list pretty soon. :D

Damn, Go Rila will have gears, new diff, converter, KB, 60s, MAF, I guess I will be behind this year.:(

Hey, where'd you get your hood?

He'll probably chime in soon, unless he's traveling, but it was someplace in Florida that's not in business anymore if I remember correctly. I asked about it 2 or 3 years ago when I was looking at getting one like it.

This is the company and that is a picture of my truck on the left.

Funny thing is they have it listed under the Cobra Cowl hood, but it is actual the regular Cobra hood. Brook's is very similar to mine and probably a lot easier to get.

Hey, I just want to be a little more competitive in a heads-up race. You've got long tubes to my JBA shorties. :D

For comparisons sake, here's the url for my hood. The place I bought it from is in Wylie so I was even able to avoid shipping charges. It's the SS150 hood on this page. http://www.abcexclusive.com/trucks_home.htm I guess you can't get there directly from the URL, but just click on the F-150 and it will take you there.

I like yours better, tho. No offense, Brook, but I've never liked cowl hoods; and for some reason I've got this idea that I might like having a Cobra-style hood. Are these still available somewhere, or am I screwed?

EDIT: Here it is, it's called the "Cobra-1": http://www.ramairhood.com/store/ProdImages/f150_cobra1.jpg

Yeah, like that makes a difference versus gears, diff, and converter.
Or maybe gears, diff, and a converter are not worth anything:rolleyes:

Well I guess this will make you the fastest L in Oak Point. I talked with Terry the other day and he said he was in our neck of the woods. I am planning on some of the very same mods would love to take a look when you get it back to the casa:beer:

I will have a 4# lower and a 3.25 upper. I'm replacing my boost gauge with a wide-band so I won't really know what boost I'm actually running. I will probably end up with the 3.1 upper.

Mark - I kind of like the Redline track so maybe early June on a Friday night (depending on the weather).

Anybody know any AL fabricators ? Since there's one local, maybe we could get someone to make a run of a few for the locals for considerably less than the $7xx JL seems to want

We did this with Howe radiators for the Z, cat replacement pipes etc.

Go_rila doesn't mind hammers. I think he rather likes them. :evil
