Truck sounds like it has stage 3 cams???

AT start up and idle the truck starts to act like it has bigger loping cams in it? when I drive and get on it it runs fine, but not at idle and start up??

I've checked all the vac lines and under the boot

Its been doing it a couple of days now

ok the tube that goes from the passanger side valve cover to the back of the upper intake plenum.. If you still have the foam cover around the tube pull it off. Theres a long tube that connects to a short tube that connects to the plenum....

Mine wasnt fully conntected inside the foam tube and gave me the camming sound...

Also check the vacuum line coming out of the top of the EGR valve- make sure it has not melted in two against the EGR tube.

This will have the same effect but usually throw a SES light.
