Volvo? A GM car with an engine from a company owned by Ford? isn't Volvo Swedish, not German.

I guess that makes my case about Gm not really being interested in building their own cars...http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v111/texarcana/SMiles/allnighte.gif

All I know is its made in Germany and is from Volvo!

It's German, but not from Volvo:

The Ecotec supercharged 2.0-liter engine is built exclusively at Fiat-GM Powertrain's Kaiserslautern, Germany, engine plant.

also:

Additionally, the Ecotec supercharged 2.0-liter borrows knowledge gleaned by Saab engineers when adapting the Ecotec to the demanding specifications of high-output turbocharged engines.

The Ecotec is mainly American in design, but it took the Europeans to make it powerful. They build it Germany to put in the Opel cars. The regular engine is made in the USA.

It might work I had the machinist at work build one for me. Space is very limited so I had to build a small one but its VERY strong!! But I'll let you know if I need to!! Thanks But after installing this Stage 3 kit she will have about 245hp at the wheels!!
