L crate motors?

Does FRPP sell Lightning crate motors anymore? Looking for something pan to blower. I'm doubtful that they do, but I am curious.

Check out Hot Rod magazine. They have had a running story over the past two issues about an 5.4 from JDM. Maybe not what you are looking for but it was a good story.

I believe thats the 5.4 aluminum short block, JDM sells them for $6,500, I called JDm and checked on the price

I'm just thinking aloud... wondering how much of a PITA it would be to put a stock L motor in an Expedition. All the bracketry is L-specific, as well as a lot of other things, so I'm trying to get as much as possible with one purchase. It's all the small $50-250 stuff that will make it cost-prohibitive.

It's not hard at all. I think MAD Enterprises makes a conversion kit that will allow you to do it without much drama....I know they have it for the regular F series trucks.
