having problems!!!!

for some reason im having problems with my truck! on occasion i will start my truck and then it wil stall out! it fires up then stalls out, then makes a pop noise and then fires right up, sometimes it will take 20min. to get it started. i have taken it to ford twice and they cant find a problem with it, thought it was the fuel filter but thats not the problem! has this happened to anyone else? if anybody has any suggestions would luv to hear them!!!!! thanks, shawn!

check your vacuum lines and the boot from the filter to the throttle body
There are 2 or 3 lines that run up under trhe big black hose going to the throttle body
Have you done any work under the hood recently ?

iac= idle air control valve..

If standing at the front of the motor looking at the intake plenum on top of the supercharger. Look to the left side of the plenum. there will be a small deal with a cylinder with a wire plug at the end. Its held on by 2 bolts. Unbolt it and un plug it, carefully and slowly pull if off so you dont damage the gasket. Take some intake cleaner and spray in the 2 holes. Repeat a few times till its clean and no more black gunk comes out..

The PATS system went bad on my wifes old Mustang convertible and it made starting the car difficult for a while- until it failed all together and it wouldn't start at all. You never know.
