I have seen vets and ranchers sqeeze them out of cattle hides. They say if people didn't bathe then the flies would plant them in our skin too. Just like in that dirty b****.:D

I saw that show last night on TLC- it was called "101 Things found in the human body".

It was incredible what some folks had done and lived.:eek:

Bell County sheriff that clipped a mobile home on the highway traveling opposite direction. He ended up with a 2x6 with siding and insulation through his chest and back-his kevlar vest deflected it so it missed all vital organs
A electrician that fell off a ladder and fell eye first on to a wall drill. A 20" drill bit through his eye and out the skull-missing the brain
two guys on a motorcycle that ran into the back of a flat bed carrying steel pipe-impaled them both
A lady filming the catch of a blue marlin when it jumped out of the water and speared her breast and lung

Finally got to see this.. I saw a movie back in the early 70's on late-night TV, some African "adventure", some gal gets lost in the jungle, and ends up with a trio of these things planted in her back/shoulder, even showed them pulling them out with hot leaves and sharp sticks. :eek2:
