Dirk lost his cool + missed his last free throw that would have tied the game. Dissapointing to lose after a 13 point lead in the 3rd. Proof it ain't over till the fat lady sings..:(

When I popped in early in the game, and saw the Mavs falling behind, I wasn't too worried. I'm not too worried now--tho I'd hate to be in that locekr room tonite without asbestos underwear. :eek2:

And you're surprised??? You know as well as I do the league will want 7 games, no matter what. It'll happen, mark my words.
Of course, now that I've said that... it'll go in 5.

that's what I like about dallas fans. When dallas loses the ref's are always to blame. If a team doesn't finish when they get a big lead, and let the refs decide teh out come with one or two calls, then that's their fault anyway!

Did you watch the game ?
Can you honestly tell me that Dwayne Wade didn't foul Terry at midcourt on that cross body block/reach-in ? The only reason that wasn't called was because it would have fouled him out and definitely sealed the deal.
The series will go 6.
The Mavs win tonight BTW.

Not to mention something I heard on the Ticket today: Norm was saying that Terry's foul at 44.3 seconds was in the books as 42 seconds, because the ref's little clockstopper on the whistle "somehow malfunctioned", and the clock ticked down 2.3 seconds before the timekeeper stopped it. Not only did the ref call a lousy call, he had a busted clockstopper (allegedly), AND neither ref nor the timekeeper (a Heat fan, apparently) has the brains given a goose to put the time back on. Yet ANOTHER glaring example of the bogusness of the NBA in general
I mean, the NBA is the ONLY sport that does NOT have a program in place to regulate the referees. The NHL has the goal cam and upstairs review; and a program that reviews the refs' performance in a game, and gives them feedback and additional training if needed. MLB has a similar system in place now, and it working to improve umpiring. We already know that the NFL has something like that, had it for a while even before instant replay to overturn calls.
So why can't the NBA do this?? Because this allows them to control the outcome of games. I really wish someone would investigate this, and break it wide open. The comedy value alone would be gold. :bs :bs
