Finally after much fanfare and waiting for a ship date I recieved my tracking number from KB.

I look forward to the next round of mods.

For those of you who already have the KB should I be aware of anything post-op?

PS Terry is doing the work so I should not have to worry about the install of the new mods.

Yes be aware that your tire wear will increase considerably.

:D I'm not sure I know what you mean. I never get into the throttle of the L as that would be:evil ..... I plan on ruining that set of F1's

I get that with a stock blower and lightly modded truck:d My last f-1's on the rear lasted about 9K.

about 6k miles.

Does that include trips to the track? That would be 2 years for me. What kind of 60ft's are you fella's pulling on them?

Mine were brand new when I went to the track, and I only made ~4-5 passes, so I didn't do any better than with F1s. _However_, I can say for sure that they hook up great on the street (and I know they do at the track, too, I just don't go often). Yeah, I get about a year out of them and that's it.

Contrary to what you might think, they will also navigate fair enough through a rain shower if you ever get caught in one. The BFG DRs are another story. But the Nittos, IMHO, are the best compromise. I use them exclusively on my Z06 as well.

Yeah I had them on my Z06 at one time. I burned 'em off as quick as I could (800 miles). What a way to completely ruin a car capable of pulling 1g on the skidpad. The Nittos may not be F1 Supercar tires, but they are just fine for my type of driving.

Old shot of my truck with 17" BFG drag radials. Never had much luck at the track with 60' times, but they worked well on the street. Dangerous in the wet like you guys said.

I've had mine on for a few months now and loving every minute of it!
I was running a 6# lower and 3.25 upper making 15#. Lastnight I installed
a RR 3.1 which increased the boost to 17#'s. I plan to hit HRP this
afternoon to see if I can get an 11 second slip in this cruddy weather.
