Well, the past several Fridays, I've been running north on I-45 back to the house and I've noticed probably 15-20 of these crazy looking rigs each day running south - in columns. knanaMy guess is they've been running down from their IL. plants to Houston to hop container-ships to head to Iraq.

I was kinda' curious about a closer look at the truck(s), so I U-turned at the next exit, chased this one down in the L and took these pics.knana:burnout:

It was a rather memorable experience to witness a brand-new piece of bad-ass machinery that is about to be employed in Iraq.http://www.ls2.com/forums/images/smilies/bigun2.gifhttp://www.ls2.com/forums/images/smilies/usa2.gif

Long story short, I was busted for 81/70 on I-45 north of Huntsville somewhere. The officer said he noticed my tail-lights red for quite a while then he hit me with the radar... from behind. Glad he didn't bust me a few minutes earlier. Yes, V1 - POP2 was on.

I asked the DPS officer about these trucks and he mentioned that they pulled one of them over to check them out - out of curiosity.

Evidently, if the ACs in these rigs cut-out, it's an oven in there with all that armament.

Oh well, Momma's got me grounded...sorta' flying the friendly skies now with SW and not speeding in the L.:D

Well, actually, there's more. I thought my personal laptop case was empty, but I forgot about some .223 63 gr. rounds I threw in there from months ago in visiting the parents.;)

All was good after a shake-down and lecture at Love Field through security.:hammer:http://www.ls2.com/forums/images/smilies/2gunsfiring_v1.gifhttp://www.ls2.com/forums/images/smilies/willy.gif
