Lightning airbox

Hey Guys, I used to be a member on this site back when I had my 2002 Lightning before I had an accident. Just this week I found my old stock airbox and filter in storage, and I was wondering does the Lightning airbox and filter move more air then the cone filter and airbox on a regular F150? If so, could I make it fit my 2003 F150 Supercrew FX4? I had thought about modifying the L's box to make a CAI or something of that nature. Any ideas, thoughts, or suggestions? Thanks for any help.
