Can I get the keyless entry code with a scanner?

My 04 Supercrew has a keyless entry pad on the drivers door. When I bought the truck (used) I did not get the card that's supposed to be in with the owners manual.
I found out where the module is but it's a pain to get to. Can the code retreived with a scanner? If so, who has a scanner?

I think the number is also located on the truck someplace, I just dont remember where.

The number is on the box. Just get a flashlight and look at it.

The seatback for the back seat has to come out and the carpet has to be removed to see the box. A real pain in the arse.
It's not under the dash like it should be.
