Fishing????

Anyone here ever go fishing? Or want to go fishing? I know it's hot but I have been hitting up Black Creek Lake and have had some decent luck if anyone is interested maybe next weekend. :beer: There is another lake next to it called cotton something but have yet to try it.

I tournament fish and have been known to spend a lot of time on the water. This is the first summer that I have not fished a tournament trail such as Basschamps in several years.

Maybe when things cool off we can plan an outing. I have a 21' xpress with a 225 HPDI Yamaha 78 mph GPS

Well I don't know what you are running but I usually do this:throw: to most Skeeters, Triton's, Legend's etc. etc. from the hole

as usual there is always somebody faster so it may be fun to run em:twitch:

Well I have nothing. I stand on the bank and watch all the boaters catch fish while I catch old Dr Pepper cans and the occasional fish. I may be heading back out to Black Creek Lake early Sat morn if anyone is interested or has any other ideas. It's like $2 honor system, put $2 in the box and take a pass. :beer:

I said nothing about Bullets:bows That is a fast boat and the hole shot on that set up should be very quick.

I think it would be a fun race and maybe we can catch a few fish.

im all about catching a few fish, i usually fish eagle mountain but with the lake so low you can fish for 12 hours and catch 6 fish so i am all about going somewhere else and giving it a go

Oddly enough Moss Lake has been really good I have yet to catch anything over about 3-31/2 but usually catch a good number of bass

I might be up for a Moss Lake run (Just west of Gainsville north of 82)

i have a buddy that all ways goes with me so my boat will be full, sometime next week shoot me some details as in where to meet ya, where the launch is ect. i dont think i have ever been to that lake so this will be new to me

I dont do much lake fishing, however if anyone wants to put a trip to go fly fishing I'm up for that. Actually going to our house in Crede Colorado to fish the Rio Grande this Tuesday - Monday, can't wait to deal with the new airport changes with our rods and reels and etc. I usually go to the Bahamas, Mexico, South America a couple times a year, but my dad goes 10+ times per year with his doctor friends. guess he doesnt love me enough to take me that many times :rolleyes:

:ron: This past June while at San Andros Bahamas my dad and I were walking the flats in knee-mid thigh water, my dad hooked a nice sized bonefish and took off, well all of a sudden the fish turned a came back to where my dad was, swam past him and a 4 ft shark hit my dad in the leg with its fin.
