Trans question help!!!

I am changing fluid and I took the filter off to replace it and the o-ring is stuck. What can I use to get it out? I have benn using a small screwdriver trying to scrape it out and a razor but not too much success. Any thing I spray on it without damaging the tranny? Any help will be greatly appreciated. :throw:

Take a finishing nail and put a 90 degree bend in it near the pointy end, push it into the seal and pull down with a pair of pliers.

I use a little pick that has a 90 degree and pull straight down. I always shoot the new o-ring on the new filter with a little wd40 and it usually will come right out next time

Thanks everyone for the help, I thought I had messed something up. Finally got it all out but it came in little pieces. O well all is done thanks again. :beer:
