On the way to work this morning an old man in a old studebaker pickup which looked to be a rust bucket picked a race with me and we went from about 80 to 120+ and he had me by about 4 or 5 truck lengths:eek: , that freekin thing flat out flew:bows

It could have had the old supercharged Stude engine in it, but it only put out about 5 lbs of boost........ not bad for back in the day :ron: :tu:

i dont think there was anything old about this engine, my truck isnt the fastest in the club by far but its not a slouch either, ive taken ls1's on the highway, this old man had it put together right

if i had to guess i would say it was real, but im not reall familiar with the old stude's, and it was a hot rod in progress, he had lot custom work done around the tails lights, and shaved tailgate handle, looked like he might be in the process of prepping for paint

yeah I thought I had recalled seeing the truck you were talking about before, knew it had an ls1, but forgot it had a magnacharger on it.
