I don't see enough beer or distilled spirits on this list! You can either bring them or buy them when you get there, but you definitely need them! I would also add:

lots of $$
eats for the track if you want 'em (not sure if a grill is going this year)
minibike (seems to be a common pit item for screwing around)
folding chairs
long pants for racing, shorts for hanging out

Can't think of anything else that has not all ready been said

You would only need jackstands for repairs - not for normal racing -

I bring my big floppy hat, Beer, Water, Cooler, Chair, camera, laptop, Phone Chargers for everything, 2 way radio, Cheerleader paint ( walmart ) for numbers on Window, scrap of carpet to work on when chaging tires... Etc etc

Make sure you bring enough beer. They only sell queer beer in Kansas which takes 3 times as much to get a buzz and makes you have to pee way too much.

I do remember that the regular grocery store sold hard liquor up until pretty late in the evening. So that's a plus.:tu:

Last year on that Friday I was driving all over the place looking for a liquor store and finally gave and went to get the food for everybody for the next day and they had a full liquor selection there.

We are going to be in Missouri which is close to Kansas but one state away.:hammer:

Two things

Beer and Liquor is cheaper in Missouri (Less Tax)

They sell that stuff 24/7 at every gas station and grocery store no goofy dry county or town laws in effect

I did not see anybody mentioning to bring a grill. I will volenteer to bring my grill this year so we can cook out again. Pops said he would cook again this year. So if anybody wants to bring hot dogs, hamburgers, ect. then that will be great. If no one wants to grill out let me know and I will just leave the Grill at Home.

I recommend just going to the grocery store there. They had a pretty good selection. I had good luck last year when I bought food for that Saturday.

My grill is a little large for me to bring, but I don't mind pitching in with the cooking if somebody else brings one.

We took the outlaws, er in-laws, back to the airport today in Cleveland. Well, time is getting close for LFest and I still didnt have a helmet. So I popped on the World Wide Web and found out that Summit Racing has a store in Tallmadge (read Akron) only 40 miles away from the airport.. after we make a couple of obligatory stops at a couple of stores for the wife, we are off and running to Summit.. All I can say is WOW! glad I dont have one of those in my hometown or I would be broke..I could just shop in there and find things to buy that I really dont need but would love to have... anyway, I get there and wanted to try on a helmet.. asked about Bell helmets and the sales guy is trying to get me to go for a $450 one.. then all of a sudden he comes on a G-Force full face, size XXL, white and its been marked down from $260 to $160.. I have him pull it for me.. it fits like a glove.. So I am now good to go.. got me a helmet finally.. and a great deal too.. the savings paid for the trip easily..

Rocks, Ronald, Tom L, and Adam, please reconsider coming to Lfest, it just won't be the same without you guys.

You only live once, work is forever.

It's all about the Benjamin's Mark. I have been dumping all my money back into my company (and this included my "fun" money). Growing a company can be expensive, but that is what I want to do. By doing this I am hoping that I won't have to "work forever".

I will sure miss hanging out with everyone....:crying: ... maybe you fellers can get Doug drunk enough to show his tits this year.;) Mine have to stay home.

I have an idea...take the Video Howard made last year with you and watch it on somebodies DVD player in the parking lot to get the party going.:D

I'm sure they do at the preferred hotel - assuming I could find a room.

Thanks,

I think I have a canned tune from Terry because I didnt give him enough time to do a Wideband or dyno tune.. just trying to make sure I can get every little bit of HP and TQ possible.. thats all, so if he is going, and we can get away to do a wideband run, that would be great,...

I would recommend a person always carry a flashlight and basic tools anytime they are traveling. I would also carry duct tape, some scrap pieces of wire and a real jack. That POS jack that comes in our trucks makes a great boat anchor, but sucks for lifting up a truck.

Oh yeah....and a hand gun. 9mm or larger preferred.
