Any AOL genuises here ?
Have customer who is a Former serious drag racer who lost a BUNCH of AOL emails that were stored in the AOL "Personal Filing Cabinet" on his PC
He has an ABI file that is 300mb that no doubt has the email in it but AOL wont open it - We installed the newest versions - no luck - we contacted AOL - Benny was no help
I hate AOL

The only genius yo and he need to know:
SAY "NO" TO AOHell!!"
I won't work on any computers that use AOL, unless it's to reimage the machine completely. Just too many problems and inroads for malware.
Sorry I can't help, unless you can find an older version of AOhell on CD.

Mark Thanks for the thoughtful response
I had already tried that unfortunately the info on that page is incorrect
abi files are index files
even worse the mail is stored in a file with NO extension...
Like the others I dislike AOL - But that doesnt prevent me from helping or attempting to help an AOL user. After all they pay for my time.
