Charlie,
I would suggest that you pull out all the stops to go to a meeting.. I miss going to them since I moved away.. just my advice.

There are no stops to pull. I'm a single parent with a 9 year old. There is just no time during the week. But that OK there will be others. And no I'm not bringing my kiddo, well not till after I go to the first one and I see it's ok for her to go.

Charlie - There are impromtu get togethers on other days - The meetings are scheduled for thursdays. -

Sorry you wont be able to make it

Haha, awesome! Will be fighting traffic comming up 635 getting off work at 6, didn't know if everyone would still be standing around outside when I got there.

You live at holly lake ranch? My hometown is Quitman, Tx. I used to work for a sign company in Mineola and I installed tons of signs out at Holly Lake Ranch. My Name is Weston Emmert I dunno how long you have lived there or if you recognize the name, but I thought that was wierd that you live there.

Yep..... moved out here 2 years ago and have not missed the metromess at all. Just miss my "Lightning" buddies. I go to Quitman all the time...as a matter of fact, I'll be there all day Saturday for some more fire training.

The wife was busy last night with the L so I almost decided to go to the meet in the Bullitt, but then chose the high school football game instead. That was a mistake, there was no parking within a mile of the stadium. Coulda, shoulda, woulda :(

I know the fire chief in Quitman very well. His name is Gary Simpkins . I went to church with him all my life. He is a good guy. Maybe I will see you around there sometime when I am back home visiting my parents. Do you play golf out there much?
