It's $25 for three laps. Not sure what time every one is going to meet up on the parking lot inside.

here is some info for those who dont know the details.
Its a Saturday event and it go's from 5pm. till midnight.(its cooler then anyway) its as posted above 25 dollars for three laps.(that are well worth those dollars) you normaly will be on the track with between 12 to 14 other cars. they do have a speed limit on the track of 70 to 75 mph but its not well enforced. also if you have a club you can call (817)215-8564 and reserve a time on the track. That number will also give you info about this event. I hope to see some other lightnings out beside the two:flaming: im bringing.

Steve... What time are you going?

I'm about 50/50 at this point. Normally I like to go right around dusk which nowadays is like 7:45-8pm.

I should know more tomorrow-will post up

So if the speed limit isn't strictly enforced, how fast can you go? (roughly)

There are a couple of pictures of around 120 I think.

I was doing ~120 with a pace truck just behind me when in the rear of a run group a few years ago.

I tried to take a picture out the slider window but got a picture of my ear mostly, we were feet apart, it is cool, one of things you should do at least once.

I have been stuck doing 55mph before, and reached 110 plus in the F250, and 120+ in Lightnings and vettes. I plan on working Saturday but I may consider making a few laps in the GT that I missed last time:hammer:

No, but IMHO get in the back and lay back a little on the first lap, get the feel of it, speed up a little on the second lap, third lap go as fast as you are comfortable, but it all depends on the group that you are in.

The wife and I are trying to decide if we are going or not and if so, which vehicle to take. The dfwstang guys are meeting up and caravaning over.
