I know you have messed around with LT4s in the past. I have a daily driver wLT1 and a bad head. I was going to up grade any suggestions? And if I was to buy a complete LT4 who would I go to for computer recalibration?

Edelbrock heads are my favorite bolt on aluminum head for early GM. Not sure if AFR makes them for that application.. Ed Wright at Fastchip.com is the GM tuner guru he can nail any setup:tu: Let me know if you want the heads, ARP bolts etc. I can get them local:tu:

Any special cam you recommend with the heads. I am shooting for 400-425hp. I need to run this car around 140-155mph for 60 miles at a time so I dont want to go to crazy. How much are the El heads I found complete LT4 heads for $621 ea. I also found a new/old complete crate motor for $3500. My concern is that it does not have the red intake or the red wires but the guy says it is an LT4.

You can run a pretty decent cam for top end work and be reliable. The main components of an LT4 vs. LT1 were roller rockers and camshaft.
