its been that way for years.. Im not sure what the one day ticket price is but the 2 day spectator / pit pass was $35
If anyone wants my sunday ticket you are welcome to it

I think that it was $20 for one day.

I went to my first FFW in 2002 and it has always been this way since. The only people attending the event are the people participating. It is too expensive. I got tickets to see Top Fuel finals one year for less than $20/ticket.
