I am playing with ideas on how to paint my stock wheels. what do you think about this?

I like it, different.
Can you photoshop painting everything but the spokes and center cap black, i.e paint just the rim?
Mine are black most of the time from brake dust have thought of painting them that way.

I was thinking of doing that but i have the stock 02 frankenstien wheels. could you find a pic of a 02 silver and do the same thing in photoshop and post a pic for me i'd really appreciate it.

I think they would look better chromed with the star painted instead of leaving the stock satin finish

could you reverse that for me on the 02 with the lip and inner wheel painted black and the blades be silver. Thanks again. I like the way the ones on that white L look those are clean.

Is that beast yours? Well if it is nice one. Also what year stock wheels are those and who painted/powder coated them they did a really good job.

These are the stock 99/00's with the lip of each spoke ground down flat then polished along with the lip. They are painted black on the inside and then a shot of clear over that so no polishing is required-just soap and water.:cool:

Mine was about 1000 and I think Jacob (jcblack) paid about 750
i use to have my rims the way on the second try out you did and i liked it but i want mine like 99whitebeast (steve) they look bad ass

Here's mine. I paid 500. There is alot less labor involved with just the polished lip and painted rim. If you do it this way, ask for Kirk. I think that he has done three sets of these now. SIL02SVT, you have some PS skills. We need you on this site.

Steve, that is one of the best mods I have seen done to stock wheels.. :tu: :tu: they are truly gorgeous. IMHO
