They are different part numbers, so it does not look good:cool:

Yeah, we just found out the same thing:( . A friend of mine has an exporer with a class 2 hitch and he needs to replace it with a class 3. I was hoping to be able to give him my hitch off my L. Bummer.

If anyone wants to give away an explorer class three hitch....give me a shout...:cool:
