2800 is for blow through turbo apps. I have never seen one on a supercharged Lightning. Maybe a stang feller would pick it up try DFWStangs.com.

Can you elaborate on this please?
The reason I'm asking. I was thinking of getting one for future mods. And not having to buy twice. ( Just in case I ever hit the lotto, I can build that engine I what to )
And another reason I'm asking.

Is it a tuning issue?
Thanks

The MAF reading is ciritical to the tuning especially the fuel table incraments and adjustments. Larger meters have poor idle and PT attitude. You want the smallest meter that will not peg out. That way you get the most scale/range and control in tuning. Take for instance a stock truck with a 4# pulley.
a stock 80mm maf will come close to pegging at 5 volts using @ 95% or the meter.
a 90mm stock maf will read about 4.5 volts about 90% of the meter.
a 2400 maf will read about 4 volts about 80% of the meter.
a 2800 would read about 3.5 volts or 70% of the meter, which gives you poor control of the MAF table. Hope that helps.
I have data logged trucks over 650hp on 2400 meters and they still had room.

You are running the wrong mass air with the chip aswell. You need a stock 90mm mass air not the 80mm from the 99 L's. And certinaley not the SCT 2800. I still have a 90mm that I will sell you after terry can tune mine for the SCT 2400 that I picked up. That is the mass air that the chip was tuned for.
