It reminded me why I didn't move back to the East Coast.

The Boston guys from a couple of weeks ago and the NY guys tonight verified for me that stereotypes are all too true.

I accept my Texas stereotype, ...sip beer...spit.

Isn't it interesting how different people are within the USA?

I watched it last night too Mark and I thought the same thing. I don't think I could last a day without getting in a fight if I lived up there.

We will get tons more reinforcement of Stereotypes this week from the "City of Brotherly Love".

It has already started on some of the sports talk shows.

Yep. I'll take my Texas-twang and drawl and live with it proudly. I'm sure I'd get mugged in NYC. I am too friendly to strangers to survive up there. Say "hello" on the streets and you're looked at like a freak. Down here, its polite to wave on country roads and say "thank you" to cashier's at the grocery store.

Bye ya'll. ;)

+1. Last nights episode was more of the same. It seems they can't talk without yelling.

And they have to yell at the same time, can't keep track of all that noise!

I did and CRT faceplates are hard...another benefit of DLP projectors...soft screens. New patent idea for interactive TV.;)

Glad I wasn't the only one that thought that show was ridiculous, but that is what they want...according to some I know interviewed for the show.

Personally, if I were around them (or those like them), I'd like to have a firehose at the ready--that way, when they start yelling like that, I'd hit 'em both with the water, and keep doing it 'til they SHUT UP and talked normal. :d

I don't watch TV, but I can understand. Personally, it's been my experience in living in that general region that the North-Easterners (MI/WI/IL/OH/NY) are somewhat rude and unkind - but, there are exceptions.

I saw this vid a while back from another board. :evil What a way to raise a kid Guido-style.:bs:rolleyes: (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ype2HAgrfSM)

That last show was the best racing that I have seen, backing off on the verification thing, thought it was a good show.

I have missed a couple of shows now so there could have been some cars that ran well that I didn't see, so I'm gonna generalize here. Why can't these jack-offs bring cars that run, don't catch on fire, burn up the fuse box?????. When you get past the yelling and the macho crap...(I know it's for the show but it gets old) bring a car that runs.......Watched one on TiVo last night and a fox body is going down the track spewing flames from the carb. The nissan 200sx (355 SB) burns up the fuse box. Those are just two of the POS's that I have seen. Just a littel rant...

Saw the same show
Best part was he didnt let out with the fire poping out of the carb
and it didnt prompt him to make any repairs between rounds.

The people with decent cars that run good are less likely to sign over the title to the ego maniac that runs the show... Which leaves the POS cars
