I plan to run an 8# lower on my built motor w/ stage 2 cams. Exhaust consists of Kooks headers w/ cats. What will a 2.75 upper net me? This would be on my race tune of course. I'll run a 3.25 on my street tune.

Thanks in advance!

Ron.

Stock or ported Eaton or KB?

Are you looking for HP predictions, ET's, boost levels.....

I will run a KB. I was trying to get an idea on how much boost I would be producing w/
that set up. While searching I discovered that pulley combo would be overspinning the KB.
8# (9.5") / 2.75 X 6000 = 20,7000 rpms on the blower.
The max rpm on the Kb is 18,000 rpm. I will go with the follow and just be satisfied.

9.5 / 3.25 X 6000 = 17,520 rpm
9.5 / 3.10 X 6000 = 18,360 rpm

Hmm, I am holding the KB warranty limitations sheet in my hand and it says 13K is the max rpm. Funny guy Jim Bell is. I have seen 22-24psi with a 2.75 and 8# lower. 18-19 with a 3". about 600hp on 3" upper and race tune 560 on street tune.

I'm sticking w/ the 3.25 on my street tune and the 3.1 on my race. I'm sure that should
keep me satisfied for a while.

Thanks!

That is definately safe, most folks race on the 3" and street/nitrous race on the 3.25. You should get years of smiles with that setup.
