Driving home I saw not one but at least two idiots stuck trying to cross the median to skip traffic waits. This is at 360 south of I20. There is not a good route for these folks anyway, it goes to a stop sign on the service road anyway.. What the hell are these folks thinking taking their car and 2wd blazer off road? Can't you see the stainding water and peel out marks? Did it not rain all fricking morning... These are the folks sharing the road and other public areas with me. God help us all:Bullshit

In the blurry pic you can see the car in 6-10 inches of water and mud..

It amazes me to see people do that even when it's dry. I guess the need to try and get somewhere sooner outweighs the risk of getting a ticket.

The worst part is that they're always going to be around in numbers - if not making jackass median excursions, as in this case - yappin' on their cell-phones, mashin' buttons on the radio or swattin' at their kid(s) in the back-seat while running down the highways.:hammer:

Good or bad - there is never one without the other.

I've done most of those things and probably more. I'm part of the problem.

When I was in L.A. I drove around with a spectrum analyzer on and I had to look at it all the time to watch the data. It's amazing I never got into an accident, nor did my peers.

Never drove in the dirt to get to a frontage road though. If I did, I'd like to have the Wrangler.

Yep,
no IQ test required when getting a drivers lisc or buying a vehicle.. darned shame too.

I used to sit in that traffic everyday and watch people do that. It is right there before the albertons at green oaks.

What a bunch of maroons :rll:

When I was in High School :ron: and had a 4x4, I'd go sit at one particular intersection that filled up with 3' of water pretty fast every time it rained more than 10 minutes.
I could make a couple hundred bucks in a few hours just for wading in, hooking up a tow strap and pulling their soggy butts out from under the overpass.
The manager at the corner gas station racked up too since all these folks would buy snacks, drinks, etc while they waited for tow trucks.
