Current Standings
1. Stormshadow - 5-0
2. Wesman's wife - 4-1
3. True Blue Aggie - 4-1
4. Cobras 2-3 (think this is Adam's friend or BIL?)
5. Dirt Dobbers 2-3 (This is Ronnie's team)
6. Wesman - 2-3 (cant believe the wife is beating you...)
7. dboat - 1-4
8. Sixpipes - 0-5
After a rough start to the season, it looks as if everyone has made enough moves or has a good enough roster to make the season fun. Two teams have made zero moves, while Sixpipes has made enough waiver line moves to pick up their slack (28 to date). Dependant on if the snow has burried Dana, I might get a free win this week since he has not logged on to update his roster.
And Wes, well Wes has a worse record than his wife. I knew Stephanie was nice, but the football expert of the family? :d

Cobra is Eric who works with me. He drives a slow cobra and would never race me because he says he needs to work on his suspension. He wouldnt even race the 97 mustang I had.

Yea Wesman is getting owned by The Storks. :evil I think his problem is that he has too many Miami Hurricanes on his team lol

Nah, just gay ass rules. It's pretty stupid that a receiver with 10 receptions and 40 yards scores more points than one with 100 yards and 3 receptions.
10 yards rushing should = 1 point
10 yards receiving should =1 point
25 yards passing should = 1 point
Receptions/completions shouldn't mean a damn thing. Who cares if you had 45 completions for 300 yards if you don't score a TD. In this league that would be worth like 50 points, which is just stupid. Meanwhile a good day by a QB has 15 completions for 175 yards and 2 TD's and he only scores 25.....just doesn't make much sense.
Touchdowns scored by a returner should be credited to a defense as well as the individual player.
Return yards should be scored for players that are also WR's, RB's etc
Those are just a few of the rules that are screwed up in this league

OK so I'm 0-5, but there are nine regular season games left and I'm only two games out of a potential playoff spot. I've had some weird stuff happen so far this year including loosing my #1 quarterback in the first game of the season. I've actually got a decent roster at this point so maybe things will be turning around soon.

Might want to think about another qb instead of Trent Green. I heard he might be out a while with the concussion. Farve is still out there I think.

0-7 at the midway point of the season. My incredible string of luck continues. Teams are averaging 126 points/game when they play me and I have been matched up against the two top points scorers in the last two weeks. Tiki Barber goes crazy on Atlanta last week and Willie Parker scores 0 points the following week against the same team? Give me a break... I may as well be playing the lottery, at least I have a chance of winning at that. :rll:

I see the players you are picking up Dennis and I bet your luck will change pretty soon. You are putting a good team together.

No, he's making some good moves. It will pay off. The key is to get to the playoffs, anything can happen there especially with stud players taking time off in week 15-16.
I've been beat several times in the semi's and finals by inferior teams due to resting players etc.

I lost in the last week last year because of this. I had to bench Shaun Alexander in the last week, because I wasn't sure he was going to play. The guy who won came from 2 points (he was in 3rd) down to tie me in the last week and I lost the tie breaker. :(

My luck continues. Looks like my opponent will have the highest point total in the league again this week (3 weeks in a row). Also, Reggie Wayne and Larry Johnson have career days today and surprise, surprise, they're playing on my opponents team. 7 touchdowns between those two players and they are outscoring my whole team by one point.:rll: :rll:

He probably paid to upgrade to the stat tracker. I think its 10$ for a season but covers all of your yahoo football leagues.
BTW Dennis be glad he didn't start Grossman.

He's on the verge of making that 5 rushing TD's for today. 2nd and goal with 3 minutes left and they are feeding LT trying to get him the 5th one.

They tried to throw it to LT but ended up scoring without him. Would have been cool to see him score 5 TD's. He's the best RB I've ever seen.

Check this out. The Barking Spiders have played the highest scoring team the last 5 weeks in a row. They have the 4th largest cumulative point total for the season, yet they have not won a single game.

I think you're gonna pull it off this week Dennis. If you score 125, I'll keep it competitive and score 115, if you score 85, I'll score 75, that seems to be my MO this season.
Best of luck to the biggest loser this week

Well, Wesman's Warriors felt the silent but deadly attack of the Barking Spiders last week to the tune of a 99 to 99 tie. :D What kind of a record is 0-11-1 for a team with the 4th highest point total in the league? :o

I finished 1-15 for the year and as you might have expected, dead-a$$ last. Interesting to note that the first and second place teams finished with the worst two point totals in the final week.If either team had played anyone else, including my team, they would have lost. The weirdest Fantasy Football year ever IMO.
