I have one other question. I bought a set of the ford motor sports chome wheels that match what came on my 99, The only problem is they probably added 100#'s, Where is a good place to send the original alluminum wheels to get chromed?
Thanks,
Joe

I would check with the local tire chain like Discount Tire or whoever they are up there. There are also a lot of places in Dallas we use. It is usually 500 a set plus shipping.

The 99 did not come with chrome wheels and the only way to get them was thru ford motorsports and they are steel.:)

The 99 didn't come with chrome and the only replicas were put out by ford motor sports and they are steel.

I had the ford chrome 2000 rims on my 2000 and the ford chrome 2004 rims on my 2004 and they are the same weight as the stockers- both are aluminum.

I didnt do a chemical analysis of the rims but as much time as I spent changing the stock and chrome rims I would have noticed 25 lbs per wheel

here are the ford rims on my 2000
