About a week before LFest a Cervini's cowl hood was posted for trade on the local lightning board. The gentleman only asked for a stock hood. I jumped on the offer, but my truck is white, and his was red, so the search was on. Ray (LGHTSPD) hooked me up with a mint 94 red hood (exact same as what I needed) for a mere 50 bones. Thats right. I now had the means to get a Cervini's hood for $50. He also had a sweet smooth steel bumper w/ billet insert sitting outside of his trailer and gave me a GREAT deal on both the hood and bumper. I got back home, and decided I needed a billet grill to match the bumper. So I ordered a Carriage Works billet insert that you cut your stock shell for. Now all I needed was to paint it all to match. I have some pics as my L sits right now, the grill is just sitting there, and I still have to make some small adjustments on the hood and bumper, but imo, my truck looks badazz now, almost perfect for me. Oh I also threw a bedrug in but no pics of that right now.
Stock red hood - $50 (traded for Cervini's cowl hood)
Smooth steel bumper w/ billet insert - $50
Carriage Works grill - $122
Bedrug - $200
Paint for hood, grill shell, bumper, and lower valence - $350
----------------------
Total - $772
Having a badazz new look for a fraction of what it should have cost - Priceless
