Doug,

I just got a couple of PM's and when I clicked on the ok to open button, well, it didnt open:confused: .. not sure its a huge thing.. I checked my options and all looks well there..

Went to the site and got a PM popup. I opened the PM to read it and closed the window. It then popped up again for the previous read PM

Thats because the webpage wasnt refreshed
Not much can be done

Something weird is going on. Is the refresh thing you mentioned a browser setting?

I replied to two new threads. When I go back and click 'new posts' the threads are not seen. If I do a search on my user name they show up.

Are you clicking new posts or unread posts ?
If you reply - by definition you have read your reply so it wouldnt show up in unread. As far as new posts - it should show up in "Active Topics from last day " not sure how the "new posts" feature works whether its new or new to you

Ok just looked - seems that the new posts link in the nav bar is the same as the unread posts at the upper right - it will show you unread posts. Which means that your posts would be read and not show - hope that makes sense

Didnt change my browser settings, but what could have changed and how do I fix it? any ideas?

not yet.. havent done a darned thing.. its not a huge issue, just interesting.
