Coming home from eating out with my mom tonight. I see this newer Mustang in front of me. I started to pass him and he decided to down shift and try to get me to race him. So I did. I let get back beside me took overdrive off and he got in it again. I so I laid into and pulled him hard, but we caught traffic really fast. So we got thru all the traffic and he does it again as im trying to pass him, but this time I was ready. He down shifted as I got right beside and we got on it I pulled him instantly and keep pulling away. Finally I was about three cars infront and he gave up. :throw:

People these days just never leave a Lightning alone. Trying to drive home and always get someone trying to mess with me.

Rather surprising, he should've been able to keep up with you at least... tho, no idea what mods you're running. :tu:

I beat a 06 Mustang GT by about 3 car leanths last week. Stock for stock the L will win! :tu:

What makes you think that? 300hp vs 380+ with modest mods. I don't think weight is enough to make a GT keep up with an L

I agree they are slow from a dig and a modest roll I have a few mods but they are not quick

iirc, a GT's good for 5.6 0-60, that should be decent enough to at least hold on with us--tho, to be honest, I've never known what we're REALLY good for from 0-60, I've always thought the Ford numbers were conservative at best. :o

With just a few bolt-ons, my truck makes 403/518 and will go 0-60 in 4.3 seconds. Racing a stock Mustang GT is a waste of fuel.
