He did apologize. Said the comment he made was not how it was written in the speech. Supposedly, the joke was meant to read something along the lines of, "please stay in school, so _you_ don't get us stuck in Iraq"... meaning the college students are the future leaders and would hopefully make better decisions than the current administration.

Maybe he should have done better in school... so he could at least read/follow a simple speech, and not end up with egg on his face. Flaming liberal BS. Actually I take that back... he's a socialist, bordering on a red commie.

Yeah I saw the apology on the ten o clock news. He also cancelled his appearances and Hillary threw him under the bus as well:evil . He is simply a mean bastard like a real life Grinch who stole democracy.

He may have cancelled some appearances, but most were cancelled for him by those that invited him... doubt he will make a run at the presidency now. What a tool!!
