It is 9 degrees in Pitkin, CO right now. They are supposed to get 20 inches of snow by Tuesday. I think I may try a mountain trip after TFC. It would be a true test of man and machine..
7 degrees at 11:20pm.

Very beautiful country :) Try to check out Monarch and Cottonwood Pass. I always remember my Grand-dad speaking highly of Tincup on the Cumberland Pass.

This was taken in Breckenridge on Nov. 4 during my recent anniversary #32 trip. They had a 14+ inch snow the previous week. My favorite place to go in Colorado, but only in the off-season.

Nice Picture Dennis...
I like Summit County myself but am a little more partial to Keystone.. not a big fan of the Copper Mountain.. would like to have a little cabin up there for when I retire..

It is 4 degrees in Pitkin this morning. We traversed Hankock, Taylor, Cottonwood, Tin Cup and possibly more passes during our summer trip.
