I Have been running F-1's and getting close to needing a new set. I was wondering which tire to choose? Daily driver, need mileage and still have function. I liked the F-1's. I Was wondering If anything else is worth the cost. Any input good people?:bows mp

I'm partial the the Nitto 555 Extreme street tire. Excellent grip in wet and dry, excellent ride, and good longevity. Some also like the Toyo, but it's even harder than the F1.

Hankook suite me just fine very affordably and very long life. I had my Eagle F1's for about 6 months and my 555's for about 7. Since then the Hankooks have done great w/ a 60K mile tread life but with the L it's been about 30K or so and still have some tread left. :tu: I think I paid $115 a piece and they are the V rated about 120mph. I don't do that kinda speed anymore so they are great.

I've been happy with my Hankooks as well, but the traction is not like the F1's. Still, the price is right.

Been running the Nitto's myself.. overall better than the F1's and a little bit cheaper.. the tread pattern looks better too..Toyo's are too hard IMHO.. F1's are good, but the Nitto's are MUCH better in the rain..

How interesting: I'm on 2 years and 25k on my 555's. Question is, were you using 555 Extremes, or 555DR's??

Hankook Ventus ST good price and IMO have better traction than the F1's I could just punch it and break the F1's free from the pavment and when i do that with the Ventus I just get up and go... But thats my opinion only...
