Like I need a new one.. but have decided to give archery a try.. so I went and got a Hoyt Trykon XL, sight, whisker arrow holder, half dozen carbon fiber arrows, etc.. got it all set up and am already grouping my arrows fairly well.. I need to adjust the sight slightly, but am having some fun. Went to the indoor range last night and shot some more..

Archery up here is a pretty common pasttime. Plus the season up here is better since it starts early before it gets too cold..

I dont recall seeing anyone on Talon posting about it before.

Never tried it other than in the Boy Scouts. When I was living in St. Louis, the guy I worked for had a range in the family. His sister owned it at the time and we went down there once. I was really surprised how nice the equipment was.

It was pretty big in that area. They had different hunting seasons just for bows.

Thirty years ago, I used to shoot in an indoor league. Had a lot of fun and didn't have to worry about the weather or the season.
