Here is a pic of the stock fuel rail fitting and the new Aeromotive fitting. The stock connectors are about 3/16" diameter. The new one is closer to 1/2". With a new fuel system, valve springs, I think higher horsepower and RPM potential will be greatly increased.

Holy fuel-flow, Batman!

Yep... those -8 lines and fittings are great. :)

Most of the kits out there are using -6 which is roughly 3/8. Stock claims to be 5/16 with half a dozen of these restrictive quick connections. I am hoping the -8 is not to much volume for the pumps to maintain.. I am running dual -6 from the pumps to the filter and one -8 forward. The -8 line will only be about 6' long. I am going to have to try and make TFC on the stock rails then upgrade to Aeromotive style rails afterwards. We made 600+ the NX on the stock fuel system so upgrading everything from the pumps to the rails should help a LOT.

Look what I found in the tank on the sending unit. The stock discharge line was split like a nanner. I wonder how much was bleeding out for how long even though the truck did run a good A/F.

Come to think of it I had not observed the A/F since L Fest. This rupture be recent and may have led to detonation, head gasket failure..

Anything to get more fuel to the motor is good. I know first hand how quick detonation can take out a set of heads. At the time I was still running the stock fuel lines. They aren't big enough for the tens and the H.P. it takes to get in the tens.

Nice upgrade Terry.....:bows.

One more issue....I am assuming your all over the fuel filter situation.
